Common questions
What is the best electricity plan for solar and a battery?
One that pays a high feed-in rate in the early evening, when your battery can export, and charges little for power overnight or at midday. The tiles rank plans by evening feed-in rate.
Should a battery owner join a VPP?
Only if the credits beat what you'd earn exporting at the evening rate yourself, and you're happy for the retailer to draw on your battery.
Do these plans need a battery?
Some do and are marked "Battery needed". The rest are open to anyone, but the evening rate is only useful if you can export in the evening.
