How to read the tiles
☀️ The big number at the bottom left is what the plan pays you for each kWh of solar you export around midday, when most panels send power to the grid.
⚡ Top right is the power price you pay (the peak rate on time-of-use plans). Bottom right is the estimated yearly bill for the household you picked.
⭐ The score out of 10 ranks plans by that yearly bill: the daily charge, plus power you buy from the grid, minus your solar credit. 10 is the cheapest plan on your network.

Why the highest feed-in tariff isn't always the best deal
Retailers often pair a high feed-in tariff with a higher power price or daily charge. If you use more power from the grid than you export, a cheaper power price usually saves more than a few extra cents of feed-in. Sort by “Best for my home” to see the trade-off.
Feed-in tariffs in Victoria
Victoria's Essential Services Commission sets a minimum feed-in tariff that every retailer must pay. The minimum has dropped a lot in recent years, so most Victorian plans now pay very little, and a handful of solar plans stand out.
Which network am I on?
Your network (also called your distributor) owns the poles and wires to your home. You can't choose it, and it's printed on your electricity bill. Each network charges retailers different fees, so the same plan can cost more or less depending on where you live.

Why aren't Amber or other wholesale plans here?
Wholesale plans pass through a market price that changes every five minutes, so there's no single rate to compare.
